Rare cancer of the liver that usually grows in teens and adults under 40 years old

Clinical presentation

  • Young patients - 5-35
  • Not related to cirrhosis

Investigations

  • AFP will be normal
  • CT - typical stellate scare with radial septa showing persistent enhancement

Management

  • Resection or transplantation
  • TACE if unresectable
